About the Role

In order to further enhance our Compensation and Benefits policy and governance as well as our HR information systems in our regions, we are slightly reorganizing our internal team and seeking an enthusiastic colleague to join our team.

 

As a Compensation and Benefits & HRIS Manager you will be responsible for strategic and tactical hard HR projects. You will be part of the international People & Organization team. You will report to the HR Director.

 

You will be responsible for the strategy and operational set-up of compensation and benefits policies in Belgium, Denmark and France, together representing roughly 250 white collar employees across different countries. This includes the design and maintenance of the grading system (Hay), processes and governance on compensation and benefits (bonus, insurances,...) and the short and mid-long term strategy on fair and equitable pay. Some examples include the Pay transparency regulation, a new Flexible income plan, green mobility incentives, ...

 

You will also act as project manager on HRIS projects, following up on the digitalization of processes and tools in the People & Organization department. Some examples include onboarding, workforce planning, succession, ... Our main tool is Employee Central / SuccessFactors. However we also use other tools, like PowerBI reporting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyse, design and implement (including change management and project management) harmonized compensation and benefits processes and policies.
  • Independently manage the grading (Hay) and salary offers to new employees, ensuring alignment with the company and global principles.
  • Managing yearly processes such as merit review, bonus calculations, warrants program.
  • Perform in depth analysis on compensation and benefits and provide suggestions for optimization based on market trends, internal alignment or new legislation.
  • Partner with Finance to budget, forecast and explain salary budgets.
  • Partner with an external advisor on social security and taxation for international mobility files.
  • Align and harmonize policies and processes with sister companies.
  • Plan, budget and implement compensation and benefits projects, such as Pay transparency, insurance review, flexible reward, green mobility incentives,...
  • Train line managers and People & Organization teams on compensation practices and new policy changes. Provide education to employees to increase their understanding of the policies and practices.
  • Manage internal communications regarding compensation, benefits and new policies ensuring transparency and clarity. Act as subject matter expert in negotiations with unions in different countries.
  • Act as project manager and point of contact for digitalization processes (HRIS tools implementation), including managing the related budget.

Who we are looking for

  • You have a masters degree in HR or business related domains with at least +5 years of experience, or equivalent by experience
  • You are independent in grading (Hay methodology) and project management.
  • You are able to work on a strategical level, but you can go into very operational implementation at the same time. You are able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • You have a strong methodological and proactive approach.
  • You are very analytical and detail-oriented. You have experience partnering with Finance.
  • You are able to deep dive in a specific topic without losing an overview of the bigger picture
  • You are fluent in English and French. Dutch is a plus
