About the Role
As Key Account Manager (KAM) for APAC Sales, you will succeed in this role by proactively analyzing and developing business potential in the APAC market in close collaboration with Trade Marketing and other relevant internal departments.
The base location for this position is flexible within Europe.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for executing strategic plans and achieving agreed objectives to ensure a sustainable P&L.
You will be responsible for developing the APAC market and maintaining a proactive and close relationship with customers. You are skilled at following up on projects and customer needs, acting as a natural link between the customer and the company.
In this impactful role, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving profitable growth in your region in line with defined budget objectives
- Coordinating the forecasting process for your team
- Participating in and ensuring timely submissions for tenders in your markets
- Reporting on regional performance and results
- Following up on budgets and sales leads
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Ensuring clear and transparent communication across stakeholders
Who we are looking for
We are seeking candidates with 3–5 years of documented export experience in the APAC region within retail, preferably supported by a master’s degree or equivalent educational background. You should have a strong business mindset and at least 5 years of experience in FMCG, managing either direct or indirect routes to market.
