About the Role
As a Senior Key Account Manager, you are the strategic link between our major customers and Delacre. Your mission is to deliver profitable growth, secure strong distribution, and ensure excellent brand visibility in-store. You deeply understand each retailer’s strategy and needs, and you translate this into a winning commercial strategy for Delacre.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Take direct ownership of one of our top three customer contracts, including joint business planning, negotiations, and performance delivery.
- Strengthen customer relationships and lead yearly negotiations, including trade terms and long-term agreements.
- Develop annual account plans and translate them into strong commercial actions.
- Build the promotional plan and ensure optimal product presence and visibility in-store.
- Manage the customer P&L, deliver accurate forecasts, and ensure targets for turnover and profitability are met.
- Monitor customer performance continuously and adjust plans to achieve business objectives.
- Lead category management projects to maximize shelf visibility and optimize assortment.
- Stay informed about in-store activities, market dynamics, and competitor moves.
- Work closely with the Field Sales Manager to ensure flawless execution of in-store activities.
Who we are looking for
You are a commercially driven Key Account Manager who balances strategic thinking with strong execution. You know how to build partnerships that drive sustainable growth.
You bring:
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent higher education).
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar Key Account Management role.
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in customer management.
- A results-oriented mindset with solid relational and analytical skills.
- An enthusiastic, open, and entrepreneurial approach, combined with strong selling skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat).
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
